This place is amazing! The inside is absolutely PACKED with antiques wall to wall. It smells like heaven! The garden center is amazing as well! The woman that helped me find marigolds was so polite and seemed like a genuinely nice person. I tried to tip her and she wouldn't take my money! She said to spread the word instead, so that's what I'm doing! This was my first visit, but it won't be my last! If you like antiques and gardening and you haven't yet shopped here, do yourself a favor and head down today!

MEALY BUGS IN EVERYTHING!!!! This place does not treat their soil even with organic chemicals. They have mealy bugs in everything they have spread to some of my other plants. Its a constant struggle to even keep some of these plants alive. I wont buy any more plants here. I have included some of my affected plants. (Some have already died and been rid of)

Perfect! Last minute birthday surprise and they delivered the order literally hours after placing the order. The flowers were fresh and even more beautiful than in the photos online. Highly recommend Ames Greenhouse when everything has to be just right. Will definitely order from here again.

This place is amazing! Antiques and all the plants you could ever want in one place. They have so much stuff it's hard to see everything and so many plants of so many varieties that I felt like a kid in a candy store. The owner is a lot of fun. He's very knowledgeable and super helpful. It's going to be a regular stop whenever I'm in Ames from now on.

It maybe not a well organized antique store, since the place is not quite big enough for so many things and the owners are not that young to move those things easily. But it’s definitely a great place to get plants especially succulents. I bought from them several times, the owners put their hearts to those plants, their plants are pretty and healthy. The best of all was they always being very friendly on teaching me how to take care of each plant. They also helped me planting the plants into my personal planters which was really nice.
